Welcome to MyAFBase (the "App"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application, our website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MyAFBase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or use the Service.

I. Unofficial Service and Important Disclaimers

A. Strict Non-Affiliation Notice

MYAFBASE IS AN UNOFFICIAL COMMUNITY RESOURCE. IT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, SPONSORED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (DOD), THE DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE, THE UNITED STATES SPACE FORCE, OR ANY SPECIFIC MILITARY INSTALLATION.

All product names, logos, military insignias, and brands are the property of their respective owners. The use of these names, logos, and brands does not imply endorsement.

B. Educational & Informational Purposes Only

All features, tools, checklists, and database directories provided within the App are for planning, informational, and educational reference purposes only.

  • Verify Externally: Installation gate hours, phone directories, office closures, and unit details fluctuate frequently. You must verify critical information (such as emergency contacts, travel requirements, or mandatory deadlines) through official channels (e.g., your unit chain of command, official .mil websites, the military visitor center, or the military personnel flight (MPF)).
  • Calculators: Calculations provided by the Partial Rate Allowance (PFRA) Calculator and the Fitness Test (PT) Score Estimator are estimates based on public rubrics and formulas. These outputs are not official determinations. Your actual pay, allowances, and fitness scores must be confirmed through your official finance office, MyVector, vMPF, or other official systems of record.
  • WAR Tracker: The WAR Tracker (Weekly Action Report) is a personal accomplishment log for your own reference. It is not connected to MyVector, vMPF, AFPC, or any official personnel or promotion system. Entries you create are for planning EPB/OPB bullets, award packages, and personal records only — not official performance documentation.

II. Acceptable Use and Intellectual Property

A. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MyAFBase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use a copy of the App on a mobile device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

B. Acceptable Use Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law, regulation, or military instruction (including Air Force Instructions (AFIs) or Operational Security (OPSEC) guidelines).
  • Enter, submit, or log any Sensitive Data, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Classified Information, or Operational Details.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Exploit the Service to distribute malware, trojan horses, or other malicious code.

III. No Warranties ("As-Is" and "As-Available")

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, TIMELY, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPREHENSIVE.
  • WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF BASE DIRECTORIES, CALCULATORS, AFI CITATIONS, OR OTHER CONTENT.

IV. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE DEVELOPER, REPRESENTATIVES, OR CONTRIBUTORS OF MYAFBASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SPECIFICALLY, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • ANY DECISION MADE, FINANCIAL PENALTY INCURRED, OR ACTION TAKEN BY YOU IN RELIANCE UPON THE DIRECTORIES, ESTIMATORS, OR TOOLS IN THIS APP.
  • DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS, PROMOTION DENIALS, OR ADMINISTRATIVE ISSUES RESULTING FROM OUTDATED INFORMATION OR MISCALCULATIONS.
  • ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR ACCIDENTAL EXPOSURE OF DATA DUE TO ILLEGITIMATE MOBILE FRAUD, PHYSICAL DEVICE THEFT, OR UNAUTHORIZED SYSTEM COMPROMISES OF YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE OR PERSONAL ICLOUD ACCOUNT.

V. Termination

We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate your license to use the Service and to block or prevent your future access to the Service.

VI. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

VII. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make updates, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those modifications.
